Mr Bee confirms AC Milan takeover

Thai businessman Bee Taechaubol has signed an agreement that will see him take over 48 per cent of AC Milan, with the investor having since announced his delight on social media.

Mr Bee met with club president Silvio Berlusconi in Sardinia on the evening of August 1 in order to sign the contract which will see him purchase a 48 per cent stake of the Rossoneri.

Berlusconi’s company Fininvest has now announced that the €480 million deal has been signed and has a set closing date of September 30, with the news later confirmed by Mr Bee on his Twitter and Instagram profiles.

“A great honour to complete the AC Milan agreement with President Berlusconi, a phenomenal leader,” read the message from Teachaubol published on Twitter. .

Mr Bee then spoke to Sports Mediaset, a company owned by Fininvest.

“You’ll see me often at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza as a fan with president Berlusconi, where we will try to win more and more.

“We signed an agreement that will allow our investors to start working for the club as soon as possible.

“We are in agreement, and we want to help Milan grow around the world, more than ever.”
