Taiwanese businessman Bee Taechaubol is close to agreeing on the purchase of a 48% of stake in AC Milan.

Club president Silvio Berlusconi has been in ongoing negotiations with ‘Mr Bee’ in a move which would undoubtedly give the Rossoneri a much-needed financial boost.

According to Sportitalia the most recent meeting has created a lot of optimism, with an official announcement likely to be made as early as next week.

The summit lasted approximately two hours and was described as direct and frank with both sides attempting to iron out any differences they may have over the deal.

Once official, Milan could be provided with an immediate boost to their transfer budget thus allowing them to complete some high profile signings.

Zenit midfielder Axel Witsel and Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic are among players of great interest to the Rossoneri.

Mr Bee will remain in Italy until the deal is completed.
