Napoli captain Marek Hamsik is aiming to win a trophy this season and wants his side play at their best.
The Partenopei began the 2015/16 Serie A campaign last weekend with a 2-1 loss at Sassuolo despite taking the lead early on through a Hamsik goal, and the Slovakian international has said that they cannot make the same mistakes again this week and the goal for the side this term is to win a trophy.
“I hope that this season will end with lifting a trophy,” the 28-year-old told ANSA.
“We always play to win and to please our fans.
“We broke down last Sunday, we lost our balance and that should not happen to a team like ours.”
Maurizio Sarri’s men host Sampdoria on Sunday and currently sit in 14th in Serie A after the first round of games.
