Rugani JuveNapoli have once again failed in their efforts to sign Juventus‘ highly promising defender Daniele Rugani.

Rugani, 21, has spent the last two seasons at Empoli as part of a co-ownership deal between the Bianconeri and the Azzurri and has previously been linked with the Partenopei earlier in the summer, who reportedly had a bid of around €22 million rejected.

However, Napoli have decided to once again enquire about the availability of Rugani and although they were prepared to offer a large sum for the talented defender, according to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus have once again rebuffed their offer.

The Italy U21 international started his career with Empoli before he joined the Bianconeri during the 2012-13 season when he was a regular in their Primavera line-up.

He then spent two years back with his first club where he shone in the starting eleven and helped the side win promotion back to Serie A in 2014.
