Cristiano Miller, the agent of Napoli player Rafael Cabral, has talked about the Brazilian goalkeeper’s chances of leaving the club.
Since Pepe Reina has returned to the Azzurri from Bayern Munich and the arrival of Gabriel on loan from AC Milan, Rafael has been pushed down the pecking order and will have to compete for a place on the bench with Gabriel.
“During the transfer window we worked hard to find a club that met our objectives,” said Miller to Radio Kiss Kiss when discussing his client’s options.
“We have received two or three offers that haven’t met Napoli’s valuation of the player.
“Of course we will consider the Brazilian league as well as Rafael is well-respected there and he will want to challenge for a place in the national team, even though I would prefer for him to stay in Europe.”
Rafael has made 31 appearances for the Partenopei since joining from Santos in 2013.
