Thomas Heurtaux - UdineseNapoli look set to make a final day move for Udinese defender Thomas Heurtaux in a bid to strengthen their back-line before the transfer window shuts.

The 27-year-old has been a target of the Partenopei’s throughout the summer, with coach Maurizio Sarri not backing down in an attempt to land the Frenchman.

Tuttosport had originally stated that Napoli were interested in acquiring Heurtaux’s services on August 21, and now look to make one final offer to get their man.

It is not an unexpected move, with the Naples-based club failing to keep a clean sheet in either of their opening matches, whilst Udinese have let in just one goal in 180 minutes of football.

The 27-year-old has been one of Udinese’s top stars of recent years since his move in 2013, playing in over 80 matches whilst also popping up with five goals.
