Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler has reportedly turned down a transfer to Leicester City with hopes of joining Fiorentina instead.
The 31-year-old, whose current contract with the Partenopei is set to expire in June 2016, has been steadily linked with a possible move to Premier League sides Watford and Leicester City as of late, though it looks like he would prefer to remain in Italy and sign with the pursuing Viola.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, the Swiss international has no desire to play in England and has turned down an offer from the Foxes, which is also following his recent refusal to join Watford, as he waits for Fiorentina to present a proposal of their own.
Inler, who arrived at Napoli from Udinese for a fee of around €13 million in July 2011, failed to play an important role in the Azzurri line up last term and scored just one goal in his 19 Serie A appearances.
