Napoli have joined the race to sign highly rated Cagliari midfielder Godfred Donsah.
There has already been a lot of speculation regarding the 19-year-old’s future this transfer window, with the likes of Chelsea and Juventus also keen on obtaining the player’s signature.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have confirmed the Partenopei’s interest in Donsah and it now seems that they are prepared to make a concrete bid, however the Sardinians are reportedly expecting a transfer fee of around €10 million.
If Napoli are to win the race to complete the signing, then they will have to compete with Fiorentina and newly promoted Bologna, who have also targeted the player.
The Ghanaian initially signed for Palermo in the summer of 2012, before moving to Cagliari for €2 million, making 21 appearances for the Rossoblu last season.
