Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler is reportedly not keen on moving to Leicester City and would prefer a move to German side Schalke.
Under new coach Claudio Ranieri, the Foxes have been looking around Serie A for potential reinforcements with the signing of Yohan Benalouane already finalised and the east Midlands side have pinpointed the Swiss midfielder as a possible addition.
However, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com, the 31-year-old would prefer to move to a club with more stature and and a bigger reputation and Die Knappen are believed to have enquired about Inler.
The former Udinese player has also been linked with Turkish side Beskitas but Inler is thought not to be interested in a move to Turkey.
The Swiss international joined Napoli in 2011 and has made 115 Serie A appearances over the course of four seasons for the club.
Inler is not known for his goal-scoring abilities and netted just nine times during his time at Napoli.
