Marek Hamsik NapoliNapoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has bluntly rejected an offer from Juventus for midfielder Marek Hamsik.

The Bianconeri are still on the market for a midfielder after losing the talismanic duo of Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo and are set to confirm the signing of Mario Lemina from Marseille.

According to Radio Marte, De Laurentiis said no to a ‘very important’ offer from Juventus for the Slovakian midfielder.

Hamsik has become a club legend at the San Paolo making over 350 appearances in all competitions and scoring 90 goals.

Both teams have endured very difficult starts to the season with neither side being able to find a win from their opening two matches of the new Serie A campaign.

The Partenopei lost against Sassuolo and drew against Sampdoria whilst the Bianconeri surprisingly lost to Udinese at home in the opening gameweek before losing again in a crunch game away to Roma.
