New AC Milan midfielder praises coach

Bertolacci AC MilanAC Milan midfielder Andrea Bertolacci has praised his new coach Sinisa Mihajlovic ahead of their opening game of the season against Fiorentina.

Mihajlovic replaced Filippo Inzaghi as Milan’s head coach after impressing last season whilst in charge of Sampdoria, leading them to a seventh placed finish.

“Players at Sampdoria described him to me as a coach with personality and determination,” Bertloacci told reports ahead of the game against Fiorentina.

“Sampdoria last season were a difficult team to deal with, his team was very well organised on the field.

“The coach has been able to convey to the players his qualities and methods.”

Bertolacci has joined the Rossoneri from Roma after impressing many observers of Serie A at Genoa last season.

He made 34 appearances scoring six goals and creating eight assists.
