Olympiacos have reportedly entered the race for Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio as the summer transfer window enters its final days.
The 26-year-old, whose current contract with the Nerazzurri is set to expire in June 2018, has been steadily linked with a possible move to several clubs throughout Italy and Europe in recent months, with Olympique de Marseille looking like the favourites to land him as of late, though it seems like the Greek giants are now ready to battle for his signature as well.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Olympiacos have attempted to contact Inter in order to find out more information on the Italian’s transfer situation, leading some to believe that the Reds could be on the verge of presenting a bid for his services.
However, reports also show that the centre back’s agent recently confirmed the possibility of his client playing in France in the near future, which has strengthened the player’s link to Marseille.
D’Ambrosio provided three assists in his 23 Serie A appearances last term.
