arthur masuaku olympiacosRoma’s struggles in the transfer market look set to continue as Olympiacos have reportedly rejected a second offer for full-back Arthur Masuaku.

The Giallorossi currently have a shortage at left-back as following the sale of Jose Holebas to Watford, meaning that the unwanted Ashley Cole is Rudi Garcia’s only option in that position.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Roma have increased their offer to €9 million plus bonuses for the defender, however the Greek side are not moving from their €15m asking price.

Masuaku started his career at French side Valenciennes but moved to Olympiacos in the summer of 2014.

The 21-year-old impressed whilst making 41 appearances in all competitions for the Thrylos during the 2014-15 season as the side from Piraeus won a Greek Superleague and Cup double.

Roma had previously been linked to a number of full-backs including reported Chelsea target Abdul Rahman Baba who currently plays for Augsburg in Germany.
