Sassuolo striker Sergio Floccari could move to Palermo.

The Italian forward, who is also eligible to play for San Marino, had been linked with a switch to newly promoted side Carpi recently, but a deal looks to have failed to materialise and there have been rumours linking him to other clubs.

Sky Sport Italia reports that Palermo coach Giuseppe Iachini sees the 33-year-old as a good addition to the his squad and thinks he would complete their front line.

Before moving to Sassuolo, he had two spells at Genoa and also played for Parma, Atalanta and Lazio, the latter with which he won the Coppa Italia in 2013.

He’s been part of the Neroverdi squad since last January and has scored 75 times in 339 Serie A matches throughout his career, an average of one goal every four-and-a-half games.
