Indian Super League side Pune City have reportedly made an offer for Ac Milan defender Cristian Zaccardo.

The Italian is unlikely to feature in new coach Sinisa Mihajlovic’s plans for next season and has therefore attracted interest from other clubs.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Indian club have offered the 33-year-old a four-month contract worth a around €250,000 with the player being said to be interested in joining the team.

Pune City came sixth in last year’s edition of the Indian Super League. Their team includes former Juventus and Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu as well as the Ivorian midfielder Didier Zokora.

Zaccardo has mainly been used as a backup option in defence since he joined from Parma in January 2013, making just 14 league appearances and scoring one goal.
