Roma captain Francesco Totti has spoken of his excitement ahead of the club’s friendly match against Barcelona in the Gamper Trophy.
The Giallorossi take on the Champions League holders at the Camp Nou and Totti believes it will be a good test before the start of the new season.
“I am happy to return to the Camp Nou.” Totti told Roma’s official website.
“Playing against the European champions will be challenging for us and will be a great test.”
Totti is also looking forward to coming up against Barcelona coach Luis Enrique, who coached Roma during the 2011/12 season.
“It is a pleasure to play against great players, but above all a great coach in Luis Enrique. See you soon Mister!”
Roma begin their Serie A campaign with an away trip to Verona.
