Roma’s busy summer in the transfer market has continued, as the club announced the signing of William Vainqueur from Dynamo Moscow.
The Giallorossi have undergone a complete overhaul of their squad, bringing in the likes of Edin Dzeko, Iago Falque, Antonio Rudiger and Lucas Digne. The capital club have now confirmed that Frenchman Vainqueur has been brought in before the end of the transfer window.
According to Dynamo Moscow’s official website, the former Nantes midfielder will move to the Olimpico on an initial loan at €1 million, with the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season for a further €3.5 million.
The France under-21 international joined Dynamo Moscow from Belgian club Standard Liege in 2014, making 28 appearances for the Russians. The 26-year-old began his career at Ligue 1 side Nantes.
