Inter‘s asking price for the defender.

I Lupi have been interested in the player throughout the summer and are still trying to come to an agreement for the defender before the transfer window slams shut on Monday night.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are holding out for €9 million for the 24-year-old, an amount that Roma are refusing to match.

Instead the Giallorossi will try to offer Adem Ljajic as part of a transfer for the Brazilian international, however it is understood that Inter will only be open to any deal for Ljajic if they are unsuccessful in their pursuit of their other attacking targets which includes Liverpool’s Fabio Borini and Sampdoria striker Eder.

Inter completed the signing of Juan Jesus in January 2012 from Brazilian side Internacional for a fee of around €2.6 million.
