Roma rejected advances from Chelsea over the London club wanting to sign centre back Kostas Manolas.
The Greek centre back is the core of the Giallorossi defence and is valued highly by coach Rudi Garcia which was demonstrated by Roma standing firm in the face of interest from Jose Mourinho.
