Roma have completed the signing of Norbert Gyomber from Catania.
The Giallorossi are undergoing a defensive overhaul having shipped out the likes of Jose Holebas, Ashley Cole and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa so far this summer.
“Roma are definitely one of the best teams in the world and I’m happy to be here.” Gyomber told reporters after confirming his move.
Gyomber has joined I Lupi initially on loan from the Elefanti until June 2016 but Roma do have an option to purchase him outright next summer.
The 23-year-old has 13 international appearances with Slovakian youth sides and made his senior team debut with Slovakia on March 5 2014 against Israel and has gone on to earn seven caps for his country.
Catania signed Gyomber from Banska Bystrica in 2013.
