The Giallorossi are eager to sign a new right-back to replace the ageing Maicon who is continually suffering from injuries and was not even on the bench in the win against Juventus.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, I Lupi sporting director Walter Sabatini will make one last attempt on Monday to sign the Brazilian before the transfer window slams shut.
It is thought however that Il Toro are reluctant to sell Peres at this stage of the window.
Gazzetta also report that despite Sabatini ruling out Juan Iturbe’s move to Genoa that the Grifone still believe a deal is possible.
Peres was signed from Santos only last summer but in impressed in his first season in Serie A
