Roma winger Juan Iturbe looks set to be on the move away from the Stadio Olimpico with his transfer to Genoa edging closer.
The Argentinian joined the Giallorossi only last summer from Hellas Verona but endured a difficult season making just 10 Serie A starts.
According to Tuttosport, the deal has been agreed between the two clubs for a season long loan, though Iturbe still needs some convincing over the move to the Grifone.
However, the deal could still be halted in the unlikely case that an offer between €15-18 million come in for the 22-year-old.
Despite experiencing an arduous first season in Rome, Iturbe did manage to score the opening goal in Roma’s 2-1 win over Lazio in the second Derby della Capitale of season.
During the 2013-14 season the former Porto player scored eight goals in 33 games for Verona.
