Inter assistant coach Dejan Stankovic has been delighted with the way Inter’s new stars have acclimatised at the club but is especially pleased with centre back Miranda who recently arrived from Atletico Madrid.
The Nerazzurri have made a number of high profile signings this summer but the Serbian has singled out the Brazilian defender who has immediately adapted well.
“Miranda has been the quickest to blend in here,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “And that’s not a criticism of the others, it’s just that Mancini has asked that he gets up to speed and he has done that brilliantly.”
“I’m not going to tell fans to come and watch us because we will win the title,” added Stankovic. “But the season is long and we have brought in some really good players.
“We will have a good year.”
