bruno peres torinoRoma‘s attempt to sign Torino full-back Bruno Peres looks set to fail, with the Granata determined to keep hold of the former Santos man.

The Giallorossi are desperately looking to strengthen the right side of their defence as they feel their current options, Maicon and Vasilis Torosidis, are not of a high enough quality.

According to Tuttosport, Il Toro are expecting I Lupi to make another bid for their Brazilian right-back but are unwilling to sell at this point in the transfer window.

Should Peres stay at the Granata beyond the end of transfer window, the club’s hierarchy will sit down with former Santos player to discuss a contract renewal.

The 25-year-old scored one of the goals of the 2014-15 season, running the full length of pitch before firing into the net against Derby della Mole rivals Juventus.
