Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur could be set to open negotiations with Inter for Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin.
Despite not having asked to leave the Stadio Meazza, the 29-year-old remains linked to a number of clubs around Europe, suggesting his future may lie away from the Nerazzurri come the start of the new season.
According to Talksport, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has been buoyed by the fact that the player has supposedly rejected moves to Juventus and Fenerbahce and may now look to make an attempt at signing the powerful former Porto man and bring him to England.
Guarin has been at Inter since 2012, but despite amassing almost a century of appearances for the side has never become a constant mainstay of the team and may consider a new adventure elsewhere.
He is a bench warmer wise up Spurs !
You could tell that journalists are running out of ideas on what to write but they need to be paid so why not regurgitate last Summers story, just change the date, it will do for a couple of days at least, most any old bullshit will do for a headline.
