Riccardo Montolivo AC MilanAC Milan midfielder Riccardo Montolivo has warned of a tough game against Genoa.

The Rossoneri travel to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday afternoon where they will hope to get their third straight victory and fourth of the season, while Genoa will hope to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat to Lazio on Wednesday.

“The main difficulty, first of all, is the fact we’re playing away, it’s not easy to play in that stadium,” Montolivo said during a pre-match press conference.

“Then there’s the team, Genoa is a difficult side and they want to fight back.”

The 30-year-old then talked about the situation Milan find themselves in, and compared their efforts this season to last year’s, saying the main difference is their determination.

“This year there is a great desire for revenge,” he said.

“We want to show that the value of the team is higher than last season.”
