Andrea Ranocchia InterInter defender Andrea Ranocchia could be set to move to city rivals AC Milan in January.

Ranocchia, who captained the Nerazzurri last season, has been relegated to the bench following the signings of Miranda and Jeison Murillo who have formed the Biscione’s new defensive partnership.

According to Tuttosport, the Rossoneri were interested in signing the Italian international in the summer transfer window as a replacement for Philippe Mexes but failed to get a deal over the line.

It’s now thought the Diavolo will approach Roberto Mancini’s side when the window reopens to sign Ranocchia.

The former Bari player is reportedly keen on a move away from Inter to enhance his chances of being called up to the Italy squad for Euro 2016.
