Inter, but wants to see good play translated into points.

The Rossoneri lost 1-0 to rivals Inter at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium last Sunday with Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side earning many compliments for their performance, however Galliani believes that good play needs to quickly become results if the club are to be successful starting with Saturday’s fixture at home to Palermo.

“We are calm after the derby match and we’re aware that it was a good performance as we did not deserve to lose,” said Galliani speaking at the Institute of Medicine of Milan.

“It was certainly the best of the three games we’ve played so far this season, but now we hope that beginning from tomorrow this good play can be joined with good results.”

Galliani has also praised striker Mario Balotelli who he says has matured as a player from his first spell with the Rossoneri.

“Balotelli has always loved Milan, as it’s the team he has supported since he was a child,” said Galliani.

“I’ve seen him mature and he has returned with a far greater attitude than he had two and a half years ago.”
