Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Badu has revealed that the Bianconeri are united and focused on success after earning a 2-1 away victory over Bologna on Sunday.

The 24-year-old, who scored one of his team’s goals in their comeback win against the Rossoblu, admits that the Zebrette were excited to get the three points after recent struggles in the Serie A and insists that they’re already focused on preparing for their next match against Genoa on October 4.

Badu spoke to Sky Sport Italia following the victory about his condition and Udinese’s ability to show their quality on the pitch, while also commenting on the team’s faith in coach Stefano Colantuono.

“Was I suffering from knee problems? No, there’s nothing to worry about, I’m just tired,” said the Ghana international.

“We earned a major victory over a very strong team. I want to congratulate all of my team-mates for this excellent result we’ve achieved.

“When we play exactly the way we know how, we can cause problems for anyone. We must continue like this.

“Problems in the dressing room? We all stand with the coach, he will be happy for the result today just like the rest of us.

“We are all united and now we’re already focused on the next game against Genoa.”
