The case against the now-defunct Parma has finally come to a close, and the final debts racked up have been revealed.

After crippling financial trouble plagued the side throughout the year, the club was forced to dissolve and reappear as a separate amateur side that will compete in Serie D this season.

Investigators have revealed that Parma’s debts amounted to €107 million, a final figure which acts as the final point in the insolvency proceedings against the company.

The club were docked points and received financial penalties last season after their finances caused them to postpone some of their league matches, with the club unable to fund utilities or stewards’ wages at some points.

Parma were also forced to auction off the contents of their trophy cabinet, with creditors putting up both UEFA cups and three Coppa Italia trophies for sale.
