Departing Napoli goalkeeper bids farewell

andujar napoliDeparting Napoli goalkeeper Mariano Andujar has thanked the club and the Partenopei supporters ahead of his move to Estudiantes.

The 32-year-old has played for the Argentine side previously. Originally, he played for the club between 2006-2009 before making a move to Catania, from where he was loaned back to Estudiantes for a second spell in 2012.

Andujar took to Instagram to publicly thank the club and fans of the Partenopei as he is set to leave after just one season at the Stadio San Paolo.

“Thanks to Napoli for this year, but particular thanks to the Neapolitan people,” the post began.

“You welcomed me and my family in a beautiful way,” Andujar continued to write.

“But, for now, I must go home.

“I have only words of thanks, and I leave with many memories.”
