Peruzzi - CataniaFiorentina are reportedly considering Boca Juniors full-back Gino Peruzzi for a January move to the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The Viola are on the hunt for a right back and will likely look to bring one in during the next transfer window.

As reported by La Nazione, the Serie A side are targeting Boca’s Peruzzi.

Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade said yesterday that the issue of a lack of full backs will be resolved in the January transfer window.

The right back has previously played in Italy – from August 2013 to January 2015 with Catania.

He played 33 games with Catania, scoring one goal, as well as putting together four caps with Argentina.

At the moment Fiorentina have Nenad Tomovic and Gilberto in that position. The first being more of a central defender and the latter more of a wing back.
