Roma midfielder and utility player Alessandro Florenzi has announced that he doesn’t mind playing out of his natural position for club or country.
The Italian has had to play at right-back this season as cover for Maicon, who is currently out injured for the Giallorossi.
“It is a role that I have been told to play by [Rudi] Garcia” said Florenzi to Rai Sport.
“I hope that I can be useful there even for the national team, the coach can count on me to play wherever he wants me to play.
“In defence I’m growing up and learning, but when you start from scratch, it is easier. [Federico] Balzaretti was a big help as he has given me advice. ”
Florenzi has made 111 appearances for Roma since making his debut in the 2010-11 season.
