Diego Perotti - Genoa's number 10.Premier League outfit Bournemouth have declared an interest in Genoa winger Diego Perotti, despite the Serie A transfer window being shut.

The newly-promoted English side appear to have missed out on Napoli playmaker Jonathan De Guzman, meaning they have turned their attention elsewhere in the search for attacking reinforcements.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, negotiations are underway between the two clubs as they seek to reach an agreement before the 1900 [CET] deadline.

Argentine star Perotti signed a four-year contract with the Grifone last summer, making 28 appearances in all competitions, as Gian Piero Gasperini’s men finished 6th in Serie A.

However, he could be on the move after only a year in Genoa, following previous spells with Spanish side Sevilla and Boca Juniors in his homeland.

Exciting forward Perotti also boasts two senior international caps for his country to date.
