Inter’s derby hero Fredy Guarin admitted that the Nerazzurri regard winning Serie A as a realistic objective, although there is still a very long way to go in the season.
The Colombian scored a stunning goal from distance in the 58th minute to give his side a 1-0 win over the Biscione’s local rivals AC Milan.
“This game was extremely important for us, we are demonstrating our ability to everybody,” said Guarin to Mediaset after the game.
“The Scudetto is one of our objectives but we are thinking about each game as it comes.
“I dedicate this goal to my children as they are my entire life.”
The Derby della Madonnina victory sent the Nerazzurri to the top of the table after three games with Inter currently two points ahead of second placed Chievo.
