Inter - KondogbiaGeoffrey Kondogbia has admitted that Inter coach Roberto Mancini was a huge influence in his choice to join the Nerazzurri.

Kondogbia was close to moving to city rivals AC Milan however the move fell through with the Frenchman opting to join Inter at the very last minute. The 22-year-old has started adapting to the rigours of Italy’s top flight which he feels is more tactical and much more difficult.

“Mancini knows how to make me better. We have been solid in the two games so far, so we have to keep working,” the Frenchman told journalists of Sky Sport Italia.

“My price? It’s normal. If it had happened two or three years ago I’d have been stressed and it would have affected me, but not now.”

Kondogbia made 49 appearances for Monaco in the 2014-2015 campaign.
