Federico Pastorelli has been locked in negotiations between his client and Inter throughout the summer in attempts to renew the Slovenian’s deal amid its expiry at the end of the season.

“We still have no specific date for an announcement because Inter have yet to specify one,” Pastorelli told the website FCInternews.it.

“In any case there will be no problems as in September, or by October at the latest, everything will be agreed.

“Possibly a three-year deal, but do not rule out a four-year extension.”

Handanovic, who has made 74 appearances for his country, joined the Nerazzurri from Udinese in 2012 in a deal worth €12 million.
