Inter for their summer transfers following the closure of the transfer window this week.
The former Inter player, who worked under current Inter coach Roberto Mancini during his time at the club, singled out new signing Adem Ljajic for special praise.
“I think Inter have had a great summer transfer market,” Stankovic told Inter Channel.
“I have confidence that this team can do well with their new signings.
“I have known Mancini for 18 years and I am sure he will get the best out of the players in the squad.
“Ljajic knows Serie A very very well.
“He has great talent and is a superb player.
“Ljajic has been great for my country Serbia and his ability is clear when he steps on the pitch.”
Ljajic has joined Inter from Roma on loan for the season.
