Newly signed Inter midfielder Ivan Perisic has thanked his former club Wolfsburg for giving him a wonderful opportunity to progress his career.
Perisic has signed for the Nerazzurri from the Bundesliga outfit in the recent summer window for a fee reported to be around €19 million.
“I want to take a moment to thank the club, sporting director Klaus Allofs and highly motivating coach Dieter Hecking for giving me a glorious two-and-a-half years at Wolfsburg,” Perisic posted on Instagram.
“It was my pleasure to represent Wolfsburg. I want to thank my wonderful teammates and fans who pushed my football skills to the next level.”
The Croatian international scored 18 goals in 70 league games for the German runners-up during his time at Wolfsburg.
