Inter president Erick Thohir has praised the clubs summer transfer business as well as saying Roberto Mancini has his full support.
The Nerazzurri have made significant changes to their squad this summer and have been able to bring in high profile players such as Stevan Jovetic and Ivan Perisic.
“This is the quality team we wanted to build with Massimo Moratti, so Inter can compete in Serie A and return to the Champions League,” Thohir said in an interview with Bola.
“Roberto Mancini has our full support,” the businessman added.
“But we also need the fans to always support us over the course of the season, when matches are good but also when we have some bad games.
“In our house, at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, it is integral.”
The Indonesian also made it clear that all transfer decisions were made with the support of not only Inter directors but with the coach Roberto Mancini.
“About the market, we want to emphasise that our decisions are always collective, not only of the president or the only coach or just the leadership.
“Football is a team effort. It may happen that each of these components suggest ideas and maybe they can be different.
“In the end, the choices, however, are shared and are all for the good of the club.”
