Italy and AC Milan midfielder Andrea Bertolacci has left the national squad’s training camp following injury.
The Azzurri beat Malta 1-0 on Thursday night in their Euro 2016 qualifier at the Stadio Artemio Franchi and head to Palermo where they will play Bulgaria in another group match on Sunday night.
As reported by Sky Sport Italia, however, Bertolacci will not play a part in that match after picking up a knock in the game against Malta.
Should Antonio Conte stick with the same 4-3-3 formation against Bulgaria, he could play Marco Parolo, who came on in the 55th minute against Malta to replace the 24-year-old.
The qualifiers come to an end in October, when Italy travel to Azerbaijan and host Norway on October 10 and 13 respectively.
