Chievo striker Alberto Paloschi says he is not afraid of facing Juventus at their home stadium on Saturday evening and his side will do all they can to make life difficult for the Bianconeri.

The Gialloblu will make the trip to Turin as current league leaders, having won their opening two games of the Serie A season, whilst the reigning Italian champions have lost both of theirs. Despite this however, Paloschi still believes that Juve are one of the strongest sides in Serie A.

“It’s strange to face Juventus in this position,” said the 25-year-old in an interview with Tuttosport.com.

“I can only say that Chievo’s objective is still to avoid relegation and these six points from the start of the season will be invaluable.”

He continued: “Juve? They are still the team to beat despite their troublesome start.”

“As for the Juventus stadium, even with the close proximity and enthusiasm of the fans, it does not scare me.

“We will give everything to make life difficult for the Bianconeri.”
