Pogba - JuventusJuventus midfielder Paul Pogba reportedly turned down a lucrative offer to join Premier League champions Chelsea.

The 22-year-old starlet is one of the most coveted midfielders in world football having been linked with La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, but the Frenchman has commited his immediate future to the Old Lady’s cause.

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Blues offered the Bianconeri a fee of €85 million in addition to Brazilian play-maker Oscar, while the player himself was set to earn €12m per season at Stamford Bridge.

However, following meetings with agent Mino Raiola, the French international spurned Chelsea’s advances in order to remain in Turin.

Pogba requested and subsequently inherited the prestigious No.10 jersey during the summer, following the departure of Carlos Tevez.
