Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic in the summer transfer window.

The Bosnian scored a magical free kick when the sides met last weekend as Roma beat Juventus 2-1 and it has emerged that Juventus were interested in signing the player.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus made an approach to Roma for Pjanic.

Roma, however, had no intention of selling Pjanic and the approach was quickly rejected.

There was also interest from former Roma coach Luis Enrique’s Barcelona.

Pjanic was brought to Rome by Enrique in 2011 but again the interest was rejected by Roma.
