Lazio ChoreographyLazio are already facing some very difficult times, despite the new Serie A season being just ten days old.

The Biancocelesti ended last season almost perfectly, clinching third place and a Champions League play-off round place.

However, back to back defeats against Bayer Leverkusen and Chievo Verona sparked widespread unrest among the club’s fans.

According to CalcioNews24, both the fans and club president Claudio Lotito were disappointed by how the team approached the last two fixtures. The Supercoppa defeat against Juventus had already created some discontent which was partially mitigated by winning the first leg of Champions League play-off and a victory over Bologna on the opening weekend of Serie A action.

The heavy defeats in Leverkusen and Verona once again polarised the discontent among the fans, with many of them showing up in the airport on Sunday evening to question the team.

In particular, many fans and the president himself, wonder how is it possible that Lazio are not physically capable of lasting the full 90 minutes despite their earlier start to the season than their league rivals.
