Diego Perotti - Genoa's number 10.Lazio have rejected a last-minute offer from Genoa which would have seen Diego Perotti switch with Keita Balde.

The 27-year-old joined Genoa in the summer of 2014, and made 27 Serie A appearances, scoring four goals.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Preziosi’s wish was to bring Keita Balde to the club, a move which would have forced the departure of Perotti.

Ironically, Perotti had, in fact, had an approach from Inter rejected by club president Enrico Preziosi prior to this attempt to offload him to Rome.

Meanwhile, Keita appeared to be nearing an imminent exit mid summer when he expressed his discontent towards being left out of the Lazio squad that lost 2-0 to Juventus in the Supercoppa Final. Following this incident, the young talent even exclaimed his desire to leave the Aquile.

However, both of the players will remain where they are until things have a chance to change again during the January transfer window.
