New Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina revealed that he only became aware of the Bianconeri’s interest in him after watching television.
The Gabon-born 22-year-old insisted that he was pleasantly surprised by what was a surprise transfer for him from Marseille.
“I came to learn about Juventus’s interest in me from the television,” said Lemina to RMC.
“Before that I didn’t have any contact with the Bianconeri directors, my agent did everything by himself.
“He only told me about it when it was time to formalise the agreement.
“I am very happy to be a Juventus player because it is the greatest club in Italy and I will be able to demonstrate my quality on an international stage.”
Lemina made 13 starts and scored two goals for Marseille over the course of the 2014-15 Ligue 1 season.
