Ex-Fiorentina midfielder Massimo Orlando expressed his opinion on the Serie A hierarchy this season claiming that Inter still have some work to do if they are to challenge Roma and Juventus for the Scudetto this year.

Inter have won both of their opening Serie A games this season thanks to Stevan Jovetic’s impressive form scoring all three of their goals thus far.

Nevertheless, Orlando believes that there is still a gap between the Nerrazzuri and the top two sides, and wnet on to praise the signing on Montenegrin striker Jovetic.

“After Roma and Juventus, there is Inter”, Orlando told Rete Sport.

“However the distance between the Nerazzurri and the first two clubs is still quite big.

“Of course they Inter strengthened themselves though especially with the signing of Jovetic, a player of his character has been missed over the last few years at Inter.”

Inter will have to be in top form as they take on AC Milan in their third league outing of the season on September 13.
