Gabbiadini - NapoliNapoli reportedly rejected a mega offer from fellow Serie A side Inter for two of their star players in the final hours of the summer transfer window.

The Partenopei duo have been integral figures for the club since their respective arrivals, which was one of the main reasons why the proposal was swiftly rebuffed by Maurizio Sarri’s men.

Tuttosport have revealed that the Nerazzuri unsuccessfully submitted a combined bid of €28 million for the services of Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini and defender Faouzi Ghoulam.

The report suggested Azzurri president Aurelio De Laurentiis quickly rejected the advancements made by the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza outfit, but could be tempted in holding negotiations for Gabbiadini’s sale in January instead.

Ghoulam has accumulated over 60 appearances for Napoli since joining from Saint-Etienne in 2014, while Gabbiadini signed from Sampdoria earlier this year and has scored 11 goals for the Neapolitans.
