Napoli winger hopes to stay for life

Lorenzo Insigne - NapoliNapoli winger Lorenzo Insigne will not be leaving the his local side any time soon according to his agent.

The Italian international joined the Partenopei in 2009 but reportedly almost moved to Serie A rivals Inter before the summer transfer window closed on Monday and his agent, Antonio Ottaiano, has spoken of their desire to remain in Naples.

“Lorenzo wants to stay with Napoli for life,” Ottaiano told Radio Marte.

“Obviously, however, the club must want him to stay too.

“There are no problems for us, unless the club decide to sell him.”

The 24-year-old has won both the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana in his time with the club, scoring 16 goals in 125 games.

He also helped Pescara gain promotion to Serie A after winning Serie B during a loan spell with the Delfini in the 2011-12 season.
